How to join

Participating in the distributed staging project on October 15, 2026, is simple. The initiative aims to unite diverse voices into a single, great collective narrative.

Confirm your participation by email.

In your application request, please specify:

  • Identity of the Organization

The name under which the reading will be staged (theatre company, association, collective, informal group, etc.), indicating, if possible, a website and social media channels.

  • Territory

The province and municipality where you intend to organize the event.

  • Logistical Details

The venue of the performance (theater, club, park, etc.).

  • Cast and Crew

The names of the performers, technicians, and directors involved.

Managing applications and synergies. Should multiple applications arrive for the same area, priority will be given to the first request received. However, the spirit of this project is deeply collaborative: our goal will be to foster synergies and collaborations among different entities operating in the same territories, joining forces for an even more significant impact. Once your application is accepted, you will officially become part of the network of organizations committed to staging Palestinians Are Your Eyes on October 15, 2026.

About the project

Operational Guidelines

Each participating organization operates with full organizational and artistic autonomy, with the freedom to define:

Event Location
Theaters, cultural centers, bookstores, or unconventional spaces.
Cast
Involvement of professionals or non-professional performers.
Stage Design
The freedom to integrate the performance with musical contributions, video projections, or specific lighting designs.

Provided Resources

Progetto REC will provide participating entities with the necessary materials to stage the reading:

Complete Script
The six unpublished stories exploring the reality of Gaza. The text will be distributed under a Creative Commons license to encourage maximum free distribution, requiring only the right of attribution.
Audio Contributions (optional)
Original recordings by the Gazan authors, which can be used as a soundscape during the event.

Communication and Documentary Project

All events will receive visibility through our official channels based on the information provided by the participating entities. Furthermore, organizations that choose to document their evening with video can send us the filmed footage: the recordings will merge into a documentary project dedicated to the choral narration of this initiative.

Solidarity Initiatives

Participating entities, where possible, can donate a portion of the proceeds or collected donations to Progetto REC.Palestina.

These funds will be used partly to support the activities of the AnQa theatre company—providing a contribution to the Gazan authors of the texts and investing in future projects—and partly for the humanitarian interventions of Emergenza Gaza.

Please note: The contribution to Progetto REC remains optional and at the discretion of individual organizers.
